In the execution of project, Toyo-China will apply TOYO's standards and procedures for project management which have been established through various types of projects all over the world. Addition to this, our project managers and engineers who are familiar with China native requirements plan and control a project, and control Chinese resources such as CDI, vendors and subcontractors. This project management enables to realize not only controlling quality and schedule of engineering, procurement and construction but also transparency in project execution.

As complexity of the project execution in China, permitting work can be mentioned. Our experienced engineers are familiar with the permitting process and can prevent a project from delay caused by this matter.
Moreover we attach importance to protecting clients' intellectual property through whole project stage as the company policy and one of the contractor's obligations. As the measures for intellectual protection (IPP), we establish the IPP procedure for each project and execute training for all project members and internal audit.

> Outline of Engineering Management Department

Engineering Department of Toyo-China was established for the management of engineering work for EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) project in China. In 2008, Toyo-China has obtained Class-B Design license in China as the first international contractor. Now Toyo-China can provide engineering services including not only engineering management for Chinese Design Institute (CDI) but also engineering work by Toyo-China itself.

Engineering division is one of the largest divisions of Toyo-China. It consists of experienced engineers of each discipline as follow:

 

>Engineering Management

The functions of Engineering Management are as follows:

● Execute engineering management that TOYO (Toyo-China or other Global TOYO Companies) awarded in China.

● Engineering management is carried out by Toyo-China itself or done cooperating with other Toyos. In case of integrated work with other Toyoys, Toyo-China's engineers can make more effective and efficient coordination with CDI by monitoring and controlling its engineering activities.

● Control and manage the design quality and schedule.

● Up to now, TOYO has already cooperated 118 times with CDI.

As Toyo-China has obtained the design license in 2008, the following engineering work can be executed without CDI:

Our design license can be applied to Chemical, Petrochemical and Pharmaceutical Industry in all the provinces in China.

The execution of engineering work without CDI has the following benefits:

● All documents and drawings can be controlled by Toyo-China and secured more from Intellectual Property Protection (IPP) point of view

● Duplicated cost for Engineering Management to CDI can be avoided.

● It is possible to apply Toyo's global standards and procedures and directly control the quality of engineering work.

> Design Quality and Schedule Control

Toyo Engineering Corporation (China) is one of the foreign companies that have been certificated by ISO9001: 2000 accredited company early in China. Based on this, Toyo-China are able to execute engineering and engineering management applying quality management system based on ISO9001.

All work are basically executed utilizing TOYO's standards and procedures which are applicable and have been verified and validated in international projects during the past three decades. In addition to this, many Toyo-China's experienced engineers are familiar with law, standards and codes of China. Therefore, Toyo-China can efficiently meet local Chinese requirements.

Our procurement management services were started in 1992. We provide procurement services for our mother company, TOYO Engineering Corporation (Japan), to her projects worldwide, especially projects in China. In addition, we can independently support client procurement activities as a stand-alone service. In the year 2002, we established our trading company, named Toyo Engineering Corporation (China), to provide our clients with more convenient and more flexible procurement services on importing & exporting Equipment and Spare Parts, etc.
